Drug–imaging interactions can significantly alter diagnostic outcomes in oncology patients. This study analyzed 150 oncology patients who underwent CT, MRI, or PET imaging while receiving specialty medications, including monoclonal antibodies and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Pharmacists evaluated potential interactions, advised on medication timing, and provided imaging-specific medication management. Findings revealed that pharmacist interventions prevented 18% of potential imaging artifacts and improved image clarity in 25% of cases. Integration of specialty pharmacy consultation in radiology workflows demonstrates measurable benefits in optimizing imaging accuracy in complex oncology patients.
